Auri has (July 2009) sired 11 litters, total of 111 puppies of which 6 dead/stillborn
All puppies have ridge (8 ridgefaults from 111 puppies, 5 litter without any ridgefaults)

Auri has the gene to make livernose with females that also carries the gene
Auri's puppies are all inside the standard size. His sons are generally medium size and his daughters at the smaller end of the scale. Most of the puppies have Auri’s beautiful red colour and are active and very fast learning puppies in terms of obedience and tracking. Auri has generally made very breed typical puppies, which also do excellent at shows.
Auri has never, by natural breeding, failed to impregnate. The females have an average of 10 puppies (that eventhough one litter only had 2 puppies)
(One female had to be mated 3 times before she got pregnant)
Auri is an active and loving dog. He loves to have visits (his favourite spot being somebodies lap). When we have puppies in the house, Auri enjoys begin around them, acting almost like a surrogate father, washing and licking them in the first few weeks, and moving on to play and educate them in a very gentle way. He has also passed a psychological test with excellent results. The outcome suggested that Auri was a very self secure dog, good at "turning the other cheek" in stressful situations. Coupled with this, he is totally gun proof (1).

Auri has also passed an Endurance trial (UHP) as a working dog (BPB). This made him, for a long time, the only RR in Denmark to achieve this. He makes an excellent tracking dog (blood tracking) and lives to search in the woods and find small things in the fields.
Agility is one of the "just for fun" things we are doing at the moment. We have never tried it with any real goal, at least not yet :-)
